Sound is wonderful for anxiety, poor sleep, pain, and releasing trauma.
We begin with a guided meditation, which allows you to relax as a number of different instruments are played to take you into an altered state of consciousness.
Those in attendance are "bathed" in sound waves, which is a contemplative experience in itself. There are many other sources of these waves, including therapeutic instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion instruments, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and the human voice itself, among other things.
